a 6lb capacity would hold about 6 shirts or a pair of jeans a few shirts.

i have this washer, its amazing, however...take not it does NOT agitate, it swishes back & forth, great for the RV, Camping or for 1 person, I can do 2 sweater tops or 3 thin summer tops for optimal washing, or a load of a wks worth of under garments & pr of jeans if i want to make sure they are "clean" but I do 2 pr of jeans fine, you cant wash a twin sz sheet in it, all it does is tangle up & doesnt wash (due to no agitation), a lot of reviews online complain about leaking & its noisy, i've had mine since last Fall & not 1 issue with it, except remembering to anchor the water hose in the sink so as not to flood the floor LOL I put my jug of soap in the sink & slip the water hose in the open handle toward the drain, works fine that way. Its smaller than a compact sz apt washer.
