There is already an active deal for free large popcorn, with a better expiration date, and no drink purcahse needed: http://www.buxr.com/deal/amc-a.....search/AMC Also, I looked at the coupon again, and you don't have to see an IMAX movie, the free large popcorn is just in honor of the IMAX experience in general. http://img.ed4.net/aeagle/2009.....er/AMC.pdf
Just for argument sake, you have a slight point, as occasionally that does happen. Usually though it only happens when the coupon has been uploaded to a 3rd party hosting site. Coupons are normally only taken down after expiration, which naturally creates a dead link.
However, also considering that the other coupon has been up for 34 days, it is probably safe to assume its stable link wise considering that it expires in only ten days at this point.
You're much more fun to debate with, as you tend to have intriguing points.
"Free Popcorn"
"See the stars in their best light - IMAX at AMC"
AMC is proud to present the new IMAX theatres.
Visit AMCtheatres.com/IMAX for theatre locations in your area or showtimes.
Help us celebrate the IMAX experience and receive a free large popcorn.
No where does it indicate that it is for any other theatre other than an IMAX AMC theatre.
In fact it leaves you with the impression that that is all it's for.
The coupon you site is a better coupon if you are going to an Imax theatre but if you don't have one near you than the coupon I posted is nice for those who are not able to benefit from the IMAX experience.
Tell me. Does it say anywhere on that coupon that you must see an IMAX movie?
The only appropriate answer is "no".
Your welcome to all the "impressions" you like, but the coupon has no stipulations on it.
Fine, you know what, its not worth worth it. However, I'll take the other coupon over this one any day of the week though. The comparison is clear if you want to see it.
Thanks, glad to know I'm not alone. It does take "balls" to be the first to vote something down, at least if its not something as obvious as it being cheaper elsewhere without special conditions. Thats a no-brainier voting wise.
You have none to the contrary, and the wording of the coupon is to my benefit argument wise, not yours. Therefore, proving otherwise is your responsibility not mine. My proof is the coupon.
I'm officially removing myself from this thread and topic. It seems I've manged to unintentionally place myself in the middle of a disagreement between two other users. Sorry about that.
