It works for me. Try updating your plug-ins or use a different web browser.

You might simply be missing the required flash plug-in altogether.

not trying to de-value your deal posting , it's just that We are in the wrong country for receiving this freebie ( assuming
BUXR does not have any members from the UK )

I'm sure there is no possible chance that a overseas alcohol production company might have marking distribution in the United States, no chance at all.

Sorry, but I think you're just nit-picking at the deal now.

not nit-picking ....just stating what you should have stated in the deal . people might be filling up information for a UK company and receive more spam --and this time international

      The "no-chance" bit was sarcasm.

Also, the form never asked for an e-mail address, hence no chance of spam.

Did you even try it yourself on a different browser or update your plug-ins?

I'm not saying your outright wrong about the whole UK thing, just that apparently you don't have all the facts at hand, so pointing negative aspects about the deal that can't be verified or that are simply not true is not cool.

Can't tell if it's for UK visitors only.. But the UK URL isn't reassuring. I'm going to clear the flags for now.

Well considering that I've seen a lot of U.S. based freebies never show up, this one is worth as much a chance as the others. If mine shows up in 4-12 weeks I'll let you know.

I feel compelled to point a previous posting out.

Free sample of Olive Oil from Italy (See the URL), posted by OrangeArrows, and nobody voted negative on it. So don't give that foreign country excuse as reasoning, cause it is not gonna do it.

I'm about to start speaking in tongues.

Of course you have not gotten that freebie if you are going to get it, you only ordered it 18-19 days ago, and you have to give freebies time as they don't ship them overnight express.

This freebie is NOT for alcohol, it is for a feakin' Ice Tray. Its just being given away by a company who produces alcoholic beverages.

I should note that if I seem grumpy, that I've been having a really bad computer week. In the past seven days all the following has occurred to my computer/hardware, in the following order.

    1. Portable External Drive Died
    2. Case Fan Failed
    3. PSU Fan Failed
    4. Monitor Died
    5. Video Card Died

So like I said sorry if I seem a little grumpy.

Although winning the referral contest helped bring my spirits up, and pay for some of the replacement/repair costs.

OK, got a bit confused. Sorry. I owe you a vote. Wink

The company is advertising vodka though and is based in UK, so the chances are really slim for us to get anything

Thats alright, I was a bit testy back, so I owe you an apology. Should not have been so harsh, and considering that the source is UK based is something to consider.

Freebies already have the rep of coming with spam but can be worth it if it really comes. With the UK url it's doubtful anything will come except lots of spam.

    @Solstice

Well this is just plain ignorance just because its your deal

What if people dig up freebies from Australia , Russia , Argentina .....would they count for any votes on this website . They should I guess , according to you .

Lest we forget your posting of oil from Italy...

You misunderstand, I'm simply saying in light of the reaction to your post, people should not have downed this one as it came from he UK, as nobody downed yours.

Also SPAM was never an issue, which you raised and then was used as an argument by another. They never even asked for an e-mail so I'm not sure where you got that one from.

I never once argued that I should receive positive votes, just that neutrality made more sense. You gave it a shot so taking the anti-foreign deal stance seems contradictory.

Honestly though, I did not even notice the UK thing until you mentioned it, so thank you pointing it out as it was important to know.

Ignorance is the lack of knowledge by they way, and clearly you did not know anything about the site as you could not access it in the first place. So there you go Orange.

I may have been slightly ignorant for not catching the UK origin part, but you took the cake with the whole SPAM thing and having forgotten about your own previous deal.

You just like to talk and talk , don't you

giving speeches of leaving BUXR ....posting it all over the places ( it was almost in all my deal comments ) ......not a presidential campaign here .

About not accessing the site , well I wa using IE and could not access it . All other websites worked except this one . Just a red blank page .Later it worked ..so ok .

Not catching the UK part ? Well it was pointed out to you .

I know my previous deals ...if I missed out on it , I count on the community to point it out . Thats what the community is for , not to put anyone down , just to point out if something was missing or not-of-value on BUXR and that's what we did here

      I agree... It's just trolling...

I did wonder if they would ship here to the USA too, but that's no reason to vote it down because some companies do ship internationally. Plus, being a freebie, even if they don't ship there's nothing lost.

Thanks for posting Solstice, it's appreciated.

Thanks for the offer, although I do pretty good knowledge wise on my own. However, if its ever needed I'll be sure to ask. Thankfully I had the knowledge to repair everything solo to save on cost, although replacing a fans is about as easy as it gets.
