I still don't exactly get how it works. Does the SD card act like a wireless adapter? What does "Upload JPEG photos through your home Wi-Fi networks" mean and why do I want to upload them through Wi-Fi instead of just old fashioned "USB to SD card" adapter? What are the benefits of doing it over Wi-Fi?
Also, how does GEO-tagging work? Does this card have a GPS received and will stamp all pictures I shoot with a location tag just like a GEO enabled camera would?
This card acts like a Wireless Adapter like you mentioned. If you are in the out somewhere in the field and have a data signal (wifi-tether on phone / data connection on your laptop) and would like to transfer pictures on the fly - this lets you do that.
