    Are these the same? I'm not sure. One is model: GFII1000EU.

    The other says model# GF1000EU.

    I'm inclined to believe they are the same but the way the model# is written in different stores confuses me.

    It is the same model (GF1000EU) but it is hard to compare these deals since one requires a mail-in rebate while the other doesn't. A rebate is always a risk, plus you are locked up without the money for a few months

    No, they are different, as I was looking briefly at these earlier.

    I saw only one difference. (Granted, I was taking a very brief look.)

    (G-Force II) GFII1000EU = 16MB Cache

    (G-Force) GF1000EU = 8MB Cache

    I think both include the NTI backup software, but that was a little unclear.

    if thats true the titles or at least the description should include this so people can make a smarter choice.
