      Well the other deal is desktop memory, but regardless, DDR2 is more valuable as a deal because its pretty much the standard found in computers these days, and it processes data at a faster rate. The trick is that older computer sometimes cannot handle it and you overload the board, or at the very least you can't use it to its full effectiveness.
