I own this camera and absolutely LOVE IT! I paid over $1,100 for this exact deal last October. I did a lot of research on Digital SLRs. I was between the t1i, 50D, Nikon D3000, and Nikon D90. After reviewing the features and price, the Canon t1i was the best value for the money with incredible features found on more expensive cameras.

Also, pricegrabber is for body and the 18-55 lens only.

Midget, you must READ! You have to add both items. By clicking the link you will get $706 for the first item of the package deal. By adding the second lens to cart and applying the code, the deal works fine and its a GREAT DEAL!

Yan, I wish you would not have removed the link to the second lens from the description. It appears to have confused a veteran user to deactivating the deal.

i didn't try to deactivate your deal jackbauer. And i did notice the lower price for you. I didn't mark the deal as dead. just innacurate. So your flag as alive again shows as a veteran user, you also did not read.

Midget you are a power user, when power users flag deals as inaccurate, you deactivate them.

Second, I have been following your forum posted about retaliation. You neg'ing my comment is uncalled for and strictly a retaliation because I gave you a negative for an inaccurate statement you made. The camera and one lens itself is $706, but this deal is for a camera and 2 lens, you did not follow instructions.

My comment of you reading improperly is completely accurate.

Jackbauer you are wrong. When anyone flags a deal as innacurate it does not deactivate it in any fashion or form.

Marking a deal as innacurate means something is wrong with it. It could be an error in description, a price change, code error, etc.

      I have removed the flag

There was nothing wrong with the deal. It is 100% accurate as it was posted. There was no price drop and the code works fine. There was no reason for it to be flagged in the first place.

I got confused. I saw the price on Amazon and thought the price got lowered. Granted I didn't completely understand the whole description. But To err is human. I know you can appreciate that since you make errors as well.

Awesome price for this camera along with the 2 lenses! I am looking out for T2i now since it has come out but the price doesn't seem to drop right now:(
The second lens shows as unavailable now:

This is the first Canon Rebel that can shoot HD video, and some of the improvements this model has over previous ones include a larger viewfinder and spot metering. The reviews and sample images are great at all my favorite review sites. Big Grin This is the best price I've seen.

The camera is super - but one thing you might want to watch out for the telephoto lens - images might get blurry when you have slow shutter speed since this lens does not have shake reduction. It's good if you are taking shots of still objects on your tripod ( at full zoom)- but at full zoom if you shoot moving subjects - the images might get blurry. For that you have this > http://www.amazon.com/Canon-EF.....311&sr=8-1

( yeah it's double $$ than the camera)

But again - with this deal you are getting a lens for free which is sweet. I just wanted to make sure that the expectation levels were set accordingly. Big Grin
