This thing is junk. Just read the reviews posted on amazon:

Don't waste your money on the Ronco Showtime GrillWave Microwave Griller! First, it is very cheaply made. It does not grill food. First time I used it, it took 25 minutes for hash browns. Tasted terrible & never browned. Second, Teflon scratched off first time I tried to wash it. Metal grill inside bent, I cut my finger on the metal thangs on the back. I would pass on this because it is don't work & is way over priced!

Tried to make a simple cheese and ham sandwich in the Microwave using this grill, it was a mess.
Cheese went everywhere and then very hard to clean using dishwasher or by hand.
I have extras I bought, I'd give them away for Free.
Don't waste your money, don't buy this product.

If you want an indoor grill, I have to say the George Foreman grills are awesome.

We have 3 different ones and use them regularly. The food cooks quickly and tastes great.

They're real easy to clean and store.
