this is a beta test version , they are usually free . More for testers who would like to report bugs . So expect to find bugs

1st: The possibility of severe bugs is highly unlikely as they have been producing this product for over 10 years. However, if you are uncomfortable with the idea of a beta program that is one thing, but don't confuse a beta as equating to being a bad product. This is anything but.

2nd: Beta-test versions are usually are free, but the are also usually highly restricted to a select group of people, this one is available for anyone to download and use.

3rd: This is not just for "testers" and would be a valuable addition to anyones computer upkeep arsenal if they do not yet own a backup utility for their PC.

OrangeArrows, out of curiosity would you care to provide another free back-up utility for comparison to this one, one that is made by an established company, and not just some guy living out of his mom's basement?

If not then that makes it the best deal of its kind out there.

Acronis is good but beta software is not always stable. Since this backs up your hard drive... I wouldn't use it as there are chances for data loss.

Fair enough, but at least you cannot argue with the price.

I'll download it and try it personally, but of course I'll backup my computer first just to be safe, and use my previous version of Acronis to do it. Wink
