Description
Still looking for summer vacation inspiration?
America’s Best Idea – the national parks – gets even better this summer with fee-free weekends at more than 100 national parks that usually charge entrance fees.
Mark your calendars for fee-free weekends this summer:
* July 18-19, 2009
* August 15-16, 2009
Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees (reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by 3rd parties) are not included unless stated otherwise.
Forgot to add the Yosemite Lodge hotel is crap. I hated paying $239 for a non-airconditioned place. Small beds dirty towels ect. It is bard to see everything in a drive over and a drive back. (2 hour drive one way) you almost have to stay overnight. Has anyone else been to Yoesmite?

This has been in the news. There was another weekend which was available for JUNE but now expired. Nonetheless it's a great deal...since you save about $15-$25 on NP entrance fees
