Another month is over. I cannot believe about the same time 3 years ago we were just sketching the idea and the looks of the new website we later called Buxr, and now it is going strong attracting thousands of shoppers and featuring hundreds of hot shopping deals each week.

Friends Contest Update

You might remember that last month we announced that we will mail a shopping tote to every friend you refer to Buxr during the month of May. We have a Friends Contest winner this month! Contest Rules Change

We listened to your comments and made a small but important change to how monthly contest points are calculated based on your votes. Starting today you can gain no more than 5 points a day with your comment and topic votes, or to put it differently, only your first 5 qualifying votes in a day will each add a point to your monthly score. We hope this change shifts balance more towards the traditional way of winning the monthly contests (with hot deals and interesting comments & discussion topics) and eventually will improve deal quality.
